Implementation of green project management principles

This task focuses on integrating environmental responsibility into all phases of NewLIFE4BioIslands, ensuring that sustainability principles are embedded in project implementation, daily operations, procurement, and decision-making processes.

Led by GESPLAN, this task establishes a common framework for all project partners through shared guidelines, tools, and coordination mechanisms to support the consistent application of green management practices across the consortium.

A Green Project Management Checklist will be developed to promote sustainable procurement, environmentally responsible travel and event organisation, efficient resource use, digital communication, and waste reduction. The implementation of these principles will be monitored through periodic internal reviews, with progress assessed and reported throughout the project to support continuous improvement and environmental performance.
